What’s up with their separate duvet !?

Surprise !

The first time i saw it in Berlin i thought it was a mistake but a second time, it can’t be. So One duvet per person, i see the point that’s kind of more democratic… but how the hell am i gonna keep my feet warm during the night ?!

“TOG” used here in the wordplay, is the way you find the thickness of a duvet in the UK, as you can see below :

I always take king or super king beddings for my queen sized bed, so I have plenty of duvet space to roll in and an access to my significant other for any kind of reheating lol

More info here.

And some really don’t care about duvet as long as there is one !

One night @ the opera

Apartment Park Augarten – Wasnergasse 19 – Wien

Berlin to Wien

Walk [the dog] down memory lane

We walk globule a little bit every where we can but it’s the first time we walk her on historic grounds… Along the Bernauer Straße, that street famous for escapes from windows of apartment blocks in the eastern part of the city, down to the street, which was in the West.

What’s that? More stones?…. muh…

Here a map of the memorial with is situated along the way of the Bernauer Straße.

In segment D of the street

Oderberger Straße view from Mauer park on Berlin West, in 1968.
And the same view in 1989.

In between segment D and C of the street

The wall that sliced Berlin and probably this building in two. More information : If wall could talk : the new meat mural in Berlin

The Grand

The first restaurant I see with an entry that looks like a private club… We even asked ourselves if we were at the right place !

still unnoticeable….

Prenzlauer Berg & Oderberger straße

Oderberger straße Easter time !

It’s a neighborhood full of history and charm in which we had the chance to spend a few night. The weight of the past feels heavy here, it feels old and dirty. Yet it is full of life and colors. People are from a lot of different origins, there is always a smell of hashish somewhere. A lot of renovation works is also taking place to modernize it, and the result is quite good.

Brilliant apartment

So here it is my little scrapbook on the apartment we stay in.

More informations here.

Amsterdam to Berlin

Departure : 8h00, here we go again !

German motorways are totally speed limit free ! So, you’re at 140km\h and you are the grandpa on the slow lane lol

And the arrival in Berlin at 15h00.

A little stop for your furry friend, in the biggest garden of Berlin : Großer Tiergarten.

Now we still have to cross the city to pick up the groceries at the Rewe supermarket and check in the “Brilliant apartment”, and this is it, the day is done.
